Getting there
Just 7km from Melbourne’s CBD and 15 minutes from the airport, Melbourne Showgrounds is easy to get to by public transport or car.
Please keep in mind that the Melbourne Royal Show gets super busy, so the best way to get there is by public transport. Special trains run directly to the Showgrounds station from Flinders Street and Southern Cross stations.
Alternatively, you can take the Route 57 tram from Elizabeth St / Flinders St to stop 32 or take a Craigieburn line train to Newmarket Station.
